Meet Teddy & Dolcé

This week we spent some time with decor maven, Shannon, of @fielderson_home (on Instagram) talking about her two adorable, and oh so photogenic Pomeranian’s, Teddy and Dolcé. Did I mention how photogenic these two are? I seriously believe if a dictionary of hashtags existed, a picture of these two fur-babies would be beside #dogsindecor. Right?

Just look at these two! Do you know any other pups that can make a farmhouse sink look even better than it already does? I sure don’t!

Before we get to know Teddy and Dolcé a little more, let me share just one more picture.

I can’t even with these two puppers! I could share pictures of them all day, but I know you want to meet them, so let’s get started with Teddy.

When we asked Shannon where Teddy’s favorite place to go the answer was “ANYWHERE! In fact, his favorite word is ‘potty’, he flips out over this word. He will go outside and come right back in and immediately you can ask him once again and he will act just as excited to go right back outside”. I can just envision all 8 pounds of this little fellow getting all excited to go “potty”.

Teddy’s mama also tells us he’s a lover of walks and car rides, he sits on her center console and will actually lean the opposite way the car is turning while keeping his eyes on the road as if he were riding a motorcycle leaning with the curves. Who thinks Teddy needs an all leather outfit for his car rides? I sure do!

What about a favorite toy? Of course he has one, it’s a crinkly duck that makes a paper and squeaky noise. And what about his favorite Hooman? If you guessed his mom Shannon, then you are right. Teddy is the biggest Mama’s boy!

We also learned that Teddy is quite the protector of his sister Dolcé, he will not go anywhere without her and he doesn’t like to lose sight of her at any second of they day. He’s constantly giving her kisses even when she’s trying to get away. And he continues to love her even if she’s being grumpy from all his love. Awe, sweet Teddy, you are an amazing brother and pup!

Now let’s meet Dolcé.

Like her brother, Dolcé. loves to go anywhere in the car, but she doesn’t act like she’s riding a motorcycle.

Shannon tells us that the word potty doesn’t get Dolcé excited, but her favorite word is “backpack”. “She absolutely LOVES her backpack rides. When we go on hikes and bike rides, Dolcé is ready to hop in the backpack and ride along. If I say the word “backpack” or even pick hers up, she starts barking and spinning around in circles and she tries to put herself in the backpack.”

When it comes to toys, this sweet girl loves her miniature “Boo the Pomeranian”. Shannon said she actually sucks on her toys like a pacifier, she doesn’t chew on them, she just sucks on them. This is something she started doing as a puppy and has never grown out of it. She does this to soothe herself or when she’s really happy (like when mom or dad come home).

Did you know that Dolcé in Italian (and Spanish) means “Sweet”? Shannon was quick to tell us that her girl, Dolcé, 110% lives up to her name! She loves being the center of attention at all times, she will paw you if you stop rubbing her belly. She loves to give kisses and will get right in your face to do so, and you could even be a stranger. She has no stranger danger fear, she’s been even been known to give hugs if you ask her nicely. HOW SWEET!

So, do you think dad is Dolcé’s favorite Hooman? If you said yes, you would be wrong! Dolcé is a Mama’s girl just like her brother!

Honestly guys, what’s not to love about their mom Shannon? She is so talented, every space she touches turns out beautiful and she’s such an amazing fur-mom.
